1. Agreement
By accessing or using Describe Image, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service
Describe Image provides AI-assisted text outputs from images and short videos, including descriptions, alt text, OCR, captions, SEO text, prompts, product descriptions, chart analysis, document analysis, and video summaries where available.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or publishing them.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account, login credentials, and activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
4. Credits, Paid Plans, and Subscriptions
Some features require credits or a paid plan. Credits may be deducted when a request is submitted. If a paid request fails because of a service-side processing error, we may automatically return the deducted credits when the failure is detected.
Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled. Subscription cancellation stops future renewals but does not remove access already paid for during the current billing period.
5. User Content
You retain your rights to media you upload and text outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited license to process, transmit, store, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload any media you submit. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, exploitative, malicious, or non-consensual content.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity
- Upload NSFW, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate content
- Violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or data protection rights
- Attempt to bypass credits, rate limits, access controls, or security systems
- Interfere with or overload the service
7. Intellectual Property
The service, website, software, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
8. Third-Party Services
The service uses third-party providers for AI processing, hosting, storage, payments, email, analytics, and related operations. Your use of paid features may also be subject to payment processor terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, available, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any specific purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
